Privacy Policy

Sherburne County ARES respects each individualís right to personal privacy.   We will collect and use information through our Web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement.  This statement applies solely to information collected at the Sherburne County ARES
Web site.

Part I.  Information Collection
Sherburne County ARES collects information through our Web site at several points.   We may collect the following information about primary visitors: Domain Name, IP Address.

We may also collect information which our users divulge about other people, such as FCC call signs, names and phone numbers. Sherburne County ARES does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.

We collect the following general data that is not personally identifiable information; Bandwidth used, Country, Domain, IP Address.  We may collect demographic data in order to see where our visitors are from.

We collect this information through automatic logging files, site registration forms, etc. 

We do not employ cookies. A cookie is a small text file that a Web server places on a userís computer hard drive to be a unique identifier.

Banner advertising on our web is for our own web site use and collects no information. No Third parties collect information at our Web site, except for what information our Web Host collects. For this information refer to

We do not sell our user information to mailing lists or any other third party.

The information collected by Sherburne County ARES will be used for emergency planning, notification and membership updates by our company only. Users who provide information may receive list products, email announcements or training materials.  

Registered users may receive additional announcements from us about products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.

The information we collect may be used to create customer profiles based on browsing history.   We may supplement information collected at our Web site with data from other sources.

We will not share data with any other third party company without your written consent.

If in the future our Web site offers chats, forums or message boards.  Please be advised that information posted in these venues becomes public knowledge.

Sherburne County ARES attempts to maintain the accuracy of our information .  Users may access their own personal information and contact us about inaccuracies they may find.
